Happy 7th Birthday Richard!!!!!

It's truly hard to believe that our little guy is now 7 years old. We still remember the cold day we got to bring him home after 7 days in the Northside NICU and 21 weeks of bedrest, numerous hospital and ER visits before that.

Richard loves sports, video games, sharks and really any animal that lives in the ocean. he loves to ride his bike and has been able to do so for the past 5.5 years. I have never seen 2.5 year old before Richard ride without any training wheels - pretty amazing.

Richard is in 1st grade and loves school and his teacher Ms. Heflin. His favorite subject is definitely math, although he does like to read a lot. His favorite book of the month is Leroy the Lobster. Yes the books he likes are mostly about the ocean.

He also loves girls. His favorite girlfriends are Megan and Juliette. Every time he talks about them he gets a little red. Too cute.

When we look over the past 7 years we are so blessed to have you in our lives. Hard to believe that our little preemie is now 120% for height and weight.

You are truly a blessing and we are so thankful you have chosen us to be your parents.

Happy New Year!!! Hard to believe it's 2010

Well we were not very good about updating our blog in 2009. It's kind of hard to do with 4 little ones running around looking for our attention and having full time jobs. Since we did not feel like we had enough on our plate Suzana also started her MBA in December but as always we'll try to update when we can.

Overall 2009 was a good year for us. It started with Suzana getting a new job at Coke and Henry spending a week at Children's healthcare of Atlanta due to bad infection. They took good care of our little man and he is doing great now.

Then our big boy Richard celebrated his 6th birthday. Richard and Grace played soccer in the spring and had a great time. They played on the same team and did well. Gracie sometimes chose not to play but we guess that's OK for her age group.

This was followed by the little boys celebrating their 2nd birthday. We then went on vacation to North Carolina and had an awesome time. Baba Vesna came and spent the summer with us along with Ujko Aco and Ujna Kaca. We all went to the Disney World and had an super time. This trip was also the first trip on the plane for the little boys.

In September Gracie girl celebrated her 5th birthday and started pre-K and Richard started first grade. Richard went back for another season of soccer while Gracie started ballet at school. This year we decided to stay at home for the Holidays and had an awesome time. Grandma Robin and Grandpa Richard both came and visited couple of times and we had a great time. Grandma Robin took us for some treasure hunts, played Sorry and brought us really cool presents. Grandpa Richard is still working hard on making us Tennessee Vol fans and thanks to him now we have the fan full gear including plates, spoons and forks. Maybe they'll do better next year.

Halloween was rainy and cold but we still had fun and went trick or treating - another first for the little boys. Thanksgiving we spent with uncle Kevin who always brings delicious healthy food.

Christmas was fun and we all got lots of cool presents and got to spend time together. Henry got the best present - new ears. Our little guy could not hear well so we were able to get him ear tubes which will hopefully bring his hearing back to normal. Based on what we see he is already hearing better. he goes back in 5 weeks for another check up. Fingers crossed.

Our hopes for 2010 are simple. We ask for health, happiness, good friends and lots of time with the family.

Our little girl is 5 years old. Every time someone would tell us time goes by faster when you have children we did not believe them until now. our baby girl is 5 years old.

She is truly the best little girl in the world. She loves to give hugs and kisses and tells us she loves us at least 30 times per day. She also loves to tell us how she will marry a prince one day who will take her to his castle. The good news is he will also take the rest of us so we can all live happily ever after. She still believes in princesses and stories and we wish she can stay this way forever. Sometimes Richard tells her something is not real but she does not believe him as she has seen her favorite characters when we went to the Disney World. Every now and then she will ask us if somebody is “from this world” just to make sure.

She loves to play ballet and is asking to play soccer again. She loves her brother Richard but babies she loves only sometimes J. They like to break things and play with her dolls, which she does not appreciate. She started pre-K this year and her teachers love her. She asks them what the rules are and then follows them. She cannot wait to go to Kindergarten as then she will be on the same bus as Richard. She loves dresses as this is what princesses wear but will sometimes wear princess pants. She has to have her hair done as this too is what princesses do. She also goes with Mommy to get her nails done and picks her favorite color purple with sparkles every time.

We cannot imagine our lives without our little princess in it. We love you baby girl and may all of your dreams come true.

This has been an awesome summer for us. Baba is here with us and we are having lots of fun. We visited all kinds of cool places, some here in Georgia and some as far as North Carolina Outer Banks. Baba went to Chicago to get some rest and visit her best friend Teta Ranka.
We are now waiting for Ujko Aco to come with Ujna Kaca in less than 2 weeks. We plan on going with them to the happiest place in the world - The Disney World. We'll make sure to post pictures from their visit!

Happy 2nd Birthday George & Henry!

George & Henry are 2 years old!!! They celebrated their birthday with Baba Vesna and a very fancy cake that she made that was also very very yummy. We cannot believe our little boys are 2 years old already. Where did our babies go? We still remember the time we first saw them and now they are running everywhere and love to talk to each other in their own language. They also love Richard and Grace especially if they are playing with the toys that the little boys cannot have. They love to sleep in one bad even though they have two beds. They love to fight and then they kiss and hug each other. They love to sing songs and dance. Their favorite activity involves water and lots of splashing. So the pool is the place to be for the little guys. When they don't feel well they prefer Mommy but when they want to have fun they prefer Daddy. They also switch who they prefer; one month George loves Mommy and Henry loves Daddy and then they switch. George is definitely more agressive and outspoken of the two although Henry is not shy and he is definitely capable of defending himself. They also love their milk. They like to have it first thing in the morning and last thing before they go to bad. And they will only dring milk from their favorite green sippies. Their favorite activity is going to the ZOO and they love all the different animals, train ride and the beautiful playground.

Having twins is truly an amazing journey and we would not trade this for the world. Happy 2nd Birthday little ones. We love you more than you could ever imagine.

Wow we sure are not updating our site as often as we used to. Not sure if the excuse of we have been very busy with the kids and enjoying somewhat of a nice weather in Atlanta works but that's the best we got.

We had a very nice Easter with our friends and the weather was just beautiful. This was between the two major storms the day before and the day after. We sure hope April showers bring May flowers.

Hard to believe Richard is almost done with his Kindergarten and we'll soon be First Grader. This makes him very excited. He thinks that being a first grader is very special. I am sure he is also very tired of people asking him if he is in 3rd grade :-). Our big boy! At his 6 year appointment he was the size of an average 8-9 year old.

Gracie is getting ready for Pre-K and is enjoying her Ballet Classes. She is playing soccer with Richard but that is not nearly as much fun as dressing up as a princess. We think she would be perfect for the Hollywood! Jennifer Aniston watch out :-).

As for the boys they are getting ready to enter the horrible twos. I just cannot believe my little babies will be 2 years old next month!!! They are now talking and running everywhere. They love each other and their favorite game is chasing each other or taking toys from each other.

Mommy and Daddy are also doing well. This fall is our 10 year wedding anniversary so we are trying to figure out what we would like to do. I still remember a couple on our Honeymoon who were there for their 10 year anniversary and I thought that was so long and they looked kind of old. Are we now the old couple? I sure hope not.

First post of 2009 - Happy 6th Birthday Richard!!!!

Our big boy Richard!

Wow we are soooo behind in 2009 on updating our blog. It's just been very busy around here lately. We had awesome Christmas holiday and even managed to go to the Disney world. Kids loved it and we have pictures to prove it.

Richard is now 6 years old. He is tall and handsome, loves sports and math, and gives awesome hugs and kisses. Richard is playing basketball now and is getting ready for the soccer in March. He says he would like to play tennis in the summer but we shall see as he also likes to swim. He is doing a great job in kindergarten and we are very proud of him. He was rewarded for his efforts and continues to impress us each and every day. Sometimes when we have conversations with him it's hard to believe he is only 6 years old. He also loves girls and has girlfriends everywhere he goes. So he refers to them as my girlfriend from school, or from after school or at soccer or... you get the picture. Pretty funny - for now that is.

The rest of the Keller family is doing well. Boys are growing up too fast and will be 2 at the end of May. Gracie is Gracie and is our little princess. You can definitely tell she is growing up in the house full of boys as she is pretty good at manipulating them.

We'll try to be better at posting updates. Hope everyone else is doing well.

Thanksgiving - we have a lot to be thankful for...

We spent Thanksgiving with Air Grandma Robin and Uncle Pat. We love having them around. Grandma plays cool games with us and Uncle Pat does too. We even went on a treasure hunt and found some cool stuff. I bet your Grandma and Uncle are not as much fun as mine are. Oh and Grandma has this cool car where you can remove the top and ride around like that. The girls went on a car ride and it was awesome!

We're now getting ready for Christmas and all the fun stuff we'll be doing while Mommy is on vacation.

It's finally getting cold in Atlanta and we have the beautiful colors of the fall everywhere. The only bad part is that now this means we also have lots of stuff to clean out of our pool :-(. We are all doing well. Richard just finished his soccer season and now we are starting basketball. Gracie is in ballet at school and likes it for the most part. The boys are mostly cute and sometimes in trouble. We just cannot believe they'll be 18 months old in just 5 short days. What happened to our babies?

We had a pretty busy, fun filled weekend. It started with the early Saturday morning tailgate at the Georgia Tech - Duke game. Followed by Richard soccer game. Richard is playing on the team United and is getting to be a pretty good soccer player. Each game now he scored 5-6 goals no problem. We finished the day by playing in our neighborhood. On Sunday we woke up early to go to the Atlanta ZOO, which was great. This was the first time for the boys so they had lost of fun. As we did on Saturday we finished the day by playing with the neighborhood kids, which is always lots of fun.

Our little princess

Our little girl is now 4 years ago. Hard to believe that only 4 years ago we welcomed our 9 pound 21 inches baby girl into this world. She is now our little speaker of the house that knows everything. She is the sweetest little girl who wants to be a princess and has her Daddy wrapped around her little finger. She always says how much she loves us and her brothers. She loves to shop, knows how to use the credit card, and has her own taste, which is very girly. Her favorite color is purple so every time we pick her up from school she tells us she got a green and a purple check mark for her behaviour.

She loves her brothers. She pretends to be the Mommy so she will tell the twins "it's OK Mommy is here" (meaning she is here) if they are upset over something. She plans on marrying a prince and live in a castle. Her favorite food is ice cream and if we let her she would probably eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. She loves to swim and the fact that is too cold now makes her sad as the pool is right there and she can't be in it. Her favorite movie is the Little Mermaid and she can watch it all day long. She also loves to play dress up and changes her clothes 5-6 times a day. She loves to put her make up on and pretends to go to work at Coca Cola.

Gracie Girl happy 4th birthday Princess. We love you very much and the world is a much better place because you are in it.

A Day in a Life of the Keller Family

So many people, mostly strangers, asks us how we do it with four children. So we decided to give everyone a sneak peek into our daily routine:

5:30 AM - wake up, get some Coffey, watch some news before the babies wake up
6:00 AM - babies wake up - prepare their morning bottle give them hugs and kisses
6:15 AM - the big kids wake up - prepare breakfast
6:30 AM - somehow get yourself ready, get everyone teeth brushed, and everyone clothes on, including shoes, get babies bottles for the daycare ready
7:05 AM - pack everyone in the car
7:11 AM Richard gets on the school bus
7:30 AM - drop the rest of the crew at Daycare
8:00 AM - 5:00 ish PM work
6:00 PM - pick everyone up from school
6:15 PM - serve and eat dinner
7:00 PM - babies drink their bottle, get ready for bed and go to bed
7:45 PM - Work with Richard on his homework and spend some time with Gracie
8:15 PM - everyone is in bed
8:30 - 9:30 PM - prepare everything for tomorrow
10:00 PM - go to sleep

So this is how we do it. This is not our detail schedule as Richard has soccer games and we do have other things we do - like play outside but it gives you an idea of our day. We stay busy but we love every minute of it. We would not trade it for the world. We are thankful for all the blessings in our lives.

Our big boy Richard starting Kindergarten on August 11th, 2008. He is now a big boy and he even rides a big yellow school bus to school. His bus stops right outside our house so it's a short walk in the morning. The bus arrives at 7:11 AM, but we usually leave our house around 7 as Richard cannot wait to get on the bus. We tried to explain to him that bus will not get here faster because we're outside waiting for it sooner, but so far he is not interested in these explanations.

Gracie girl is doing well. We're getting ready for her 4th birthday party and that's all she is willing to talk about. Today we got here some really sassy shoes so we're almost ready. She was a little sad that Richard is going on a big bus and she cannot but she's already fine.

The boys are doing well. Hank the Tank is walking like a champ and Georgie Porgie is getting in trouble. They are just adorable and it's truly a blessing to have them as part of our family.

It's been a while since we had some time to update on the happenings in the Keller Casa. We celebrated many birthdays - Suzana's and John's to start the month and couple more here and there for family and friends. Suzana's family went back home at the end of June so it's only the six of us now. The house just seems so quite. We finished the playroom and I will post some pictures soon.

Richard is getting ready for the Kindergarten, which starts on August 11th, and we'll be shopping for his lunch bag this weekend and some basic school supplies. We don't even know what a 5 year old may need but we'll find out soon enough. Gracie is having fun in the pool and has decided she is going to marry a prince and live in a castle. George is now running and is talking a lot more. His favorite word is No and Stop it. He is also pretty aggressive in school and wants to take everyone's toys. He is now in 1-2 year old class and is having fun. Henry is somewhat walking and is talking a lot. Just like George his favorite word is no. Henry loves dogs and if he sees a dog it's absolutely the best thing in the world. He says Hajde - Serbian for let's go. Both babies love Old McDonald and Itsy Bitsy spider songs.

John is enjoying his work and has been traveling a lot to California and New York. Suzana is still with Coke getting ready for her speaking tour that starts in September. She has 4 conferences scheduled - she'll talk on different IT topics - from IT Auditing, IT governance to IT risk and compliance.

That's all the news from us from now. We promise to be better with writing more often.

Yes we did venture out with the 6 kids 5 years and under to the Aquarium. We had a great time and have some awesome photos to prove it. The kids loved looking at all the fish and the 4-D movie was just perfect. Even the little ones enjoyed it very much. We've been to the Aquarium many times but this was the first time seeing the movie and I would highly recommend it. As expected the most popular exibit was the big viewing window with the sharks and other fish followed closely by the cold water section.

Other news is that Gracie is swimming on her own and can dive really well. We're very proud of her since we did not even say anything to her about getting rid of her vest. She did it all on her own. Richard is now in tennis camp and is doing a good job, we are not sure if tennis is his sport but we;ll see. The boys are being boys and playing most of the time. Henry is still not walking but getting more interested and cruising a lot more. My sister Sandra is here with her family hence the additional 2 kids. They too are having fun and we're enjoying their visit very much. We're thinking about visiting the Zoo or the Stone Mountain next weekend before they go back home.

Dear boys,

It is truly amazing to us that you are already one year old. Looking back at this past year I cannot believe how much you have grown and how much you have changed. You went from the little helpless babies to two mischievous , loving little boys. Geroge is already walking and Hank you are not far behind. You are both talking a lot and you understand each other. We love your little conversations and the way you laugh at the end. We think you are probably laughing at us but that's ok just keep laughing. This has been an amazing year and you two have brought so much joy to our lives. We love you very much birthday boys and we look forward to many double blessings in the future.

So much has happened in April. Grandpa Richard came to visit us. See pictures above. We had lots of fun playing with him and taking some cool photos. Twins got their first haircut, George made his first steps last weekend with Henry carefully observing. While Richard managed to fall-off the skateboard and scratch his face - also documented. Gracie is getting ready for her big debut as a ballerina this weekend - I have posted her video from the last class hope you can see it(she is in the second row without her tutu - second one from the left). Daddy is traveling all over the Northeast and Mommy is watching the kids. We're also getting ready for the big birthday celebration in May. We're waiting for Baba Ljilja (Mommy's aunt), Tetka Sandra (Mommy's sister), Teco Dragan (Uncle Dragan), Aleksa and Kosta (cousins) to come on May 25Th. This is going to be one exciting month. Will post more details this weekend.

So we tried really hard to get nice Easter photos of all the kids and some of us. As you can see they were all dressed in their chirch clothes and looking good. This is the first Easter for the babies and they were good subjects to photograph. Richard was not feeling too good after eating the whole chocolate Easter bunny. Gracie was just being Gracie. Yesterday was Richard's first soccer game. He is on the team United and John is now their assistant coach. For his age group they do not keep score and it is so hectic that I can't even tell you who won the game :-). Enjoy the photos.

Our big boy had his first soccer practice on Saturday. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed watching all 5 and 6 year olds play. Once in a lifetime experience - truly undescribable. Mommy cut her hair (12 inches) and made a donation to www.locksoflove.com. The rest of the family is doing well. Gracie is still learning ballet and she is now signed up for the summer classes, the twins are being cute and Daddy is busy taking care of all of us.

Yes you read it right we are having our first snow in at least 3-4 years. This is also the first snow for our Gracie Girl and the boys. Richard saw his first snow before but this is the first one he remembers. We wish everyone a happy new year!

Dear Friends and Family, 2007 has been quite a year for our family. We started the year with Mom being 20 weeks pregnant with George and Henry who we welcomed on May 21st. Daddy started his new job at Lime Light and got a new car Yukon XL so we can all fit in. Richard started Pre-K and Gracie started ballet classes. The twins were baptized and their Godparents were Kristy and Todd. Suzana spoke at two IT Audit conferences - one in DC for the MIS Institute and one for the ISACA in Atlanta.

We hope that 2008 will be good if not better. Bye bye 2007 and welcome to 2008.

Today was Grace's Christmas party. We had lots of fun and then we went to the Lenox Mall to honor the old tradition in Atlanta and ride on the Pink Pig. Richard and Grace had so much fun. We also did some Christmas shopping and playing with the twins. We're ready for Christmas - well almost we still have to go and see Santa :-).

It's definitely holiday season in our household. We had a Christmas party at our house for all of our friends and the kids last Saturday and it was a huge success. We posted some of the pictures. Richard also had a Christmas party and we posted those pictures, btw one of the pictures is with Jordan his girlfriend. Grace's Christmas party is tomorrow so those pictures will be coming shortly as well. We hope everyone is having as much fun as we are/

Henry gets his first tooth....

Well Henry did not want his bigger brother (by a minute) George to get too far ahead so he got his first tooth today. The pic above was taken couple of days ago so you can't really see his tooth since it wasn't there. George now has two teeth. Gracie did well in her ballet class but not as well as she did last week. Richard continue to do well in school but sometime after school we cannot listen that well.

Saturday was a big day for our little man Gerge (pic above). He got his first tooth - way to go George. His twin Henry does not have any teeth yet but we are sure he is not that far behind. Gracie continues to do really well in her ballet class and Richard is now officially in the reading class after testing well in the pre-K. We're so blessed to have these beautiful, healthy children and our family.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Wow yet another first for the boys - their first Thanksgiving. We spent it at home and enjoyed delicious meal made by Daddy. The boys ate at the table with us but only baby food - maybe next time boys. The big kids loved the turkey and even helped Daddy make it. Mommy was off this week so the kids had some extra loving all week long. They also went to Mommy's Thanksgiving Office Party on Wednesday and had a good time and met some new friends.

Some new things boys are doing. Henry is able to hold his bottle and George is able to crawl backwards. Gracie has new boots (we were trying to get new shoes but...) and Richard has new shoes that make his faster than the Spiderman. Oh and the boys are each 20 pounds and over 27 inches long which puts them at the 75-95%.

Happy Halloween

Well a lot has happened since the last time we posted. Twins celebrated their first Halloween Dressed as pumpkins with the big brother Richard and big sister Gracie dressed as power rangers. See the above photo. Things did not work out with the Au Pair so the babies are now in daycare and doing great. Do not want to go into too many details but let's just say we would not try to get another Au Pair ever again.

Richard is doing great in Pre-K and is in love with a little girl from his class Jordan. Every morning when he is getting dressed he has to make sure whatever he is wearing Jordan will like. Gracie is definitely testing her independence and our patience, but she is so cute and we usually forgive her since she is the only girl. The boys are just growing up too fast. George was in a full crawling position on Saturday going backwards with Henry cheering him on. They are now interacting more and more with each other and are getting to be soooo much fun. Their favorite activity is talking to each other or watching Richard and Grace play.

Happy 3rd Birthday Gracie!

Our big girl had her birthday party on Sunday at Kangazoom. She had so much fun with all of her friends. We had fun too! Baba is leaving on Saturday so we are all really sad :-(. Our Au Pair Vera is coming to join our family on Friday for the next 12 months. We look forward to welcoming her to our family. That's all the news for now - till the next time...

Yup our two big boys were baptized on Saturday and they were too cute. Big thanks to their Godparents and all the friends and family. I am posting some pictures we took over the last couple of days. Don't have any of the twins getting baptized but as soon as I do I will post them. The top picture is of Baba (Serbian for Grandma) and the kids, then Baba, Henry and George, Gracie during her class, George after his "workout" and finally Richard in his new outfit. Hope you enjoy them.

Family of six living in Atlanta. What can be more fun? :-) We're creating this home page to keep everyone up-to-date on the happenings in the Keller casa. The latest news as of now is the pending Christening of the twins on September 15th, at 10:00 AM sharp. Gracie is starting her ballet classes for 3 and 4 year olds and Richard started Pre-K. We think Richard is definitely going to be a Valedictorian :-). Please check back often for more updates and fun pics. We'll try our best to keep this current.
